With only 3 known 2.5 Duratec swaps know, this is a very rare swap. You will have to use a V6 MTX transmission because the Focus transmisson will not bolt up(although all the internal parts of the transmissions will interchange). The 02 Cougar cluster seems to be the best cluster because of the similarities between the wiring of a Focus and Cougar. In our swaps we also keep all the functions of the Cougar cluster working(Gas Mileage,Outside Temp.,Etc), there for need the dash harness (at least the the plugs for the cluster). Although the motor mounts are similar, custom mounts have to be made to fit the focus frame. A custom Y pipe must be made as well, this is particularly tricky because of the Focus subframe. The most time consuming part of the swap is conecting the zetec harness with the 2.5 harness(pretty much took half of our total install time).
